However, Dennis who years ago while still an assistant to the legedandry Syd Laird had the misfortune of being attacked by an irate punter, has had far more happier memories in recent years and still looks set to continue that trend on Saturday ,as he also saddles 4 yold f BARAHIN'S JEWEL and with the unbeaten 3yold f SAHARA entered in the R165000 Grade 3 THREE TROIKAS STAKES, looks certain to take home some loot.
Dennis is not alone as Ex S.A. and U.K. champion jockey, now turned trainer Michael Roberts brings his 5 yold m VALDONVIO to try her luck in the Grade 3 R165000 Aciacia HANDICAP also in the same race is the third prong to the KZN attack in the form of the Michael Miller trained OUTCOME who recently made light work of a mamouth 63 kg burden when strolling in at Greyville.
